September (xAlma #48) has a new site with photo - please welcome Jonathan Morse to the class! 2. For Sale: is a stern rail at a great price. I know I am tempted to pick it up as insurance against a future collision! Of course given my luck, if I bought it, I'd mess up my bow pulpit instead! 3. In a small bit of shameless self promotion, I've posted the photo of Brilliant extracted from Nov/Dec Sailing World. It's not often that a Frers 33 gets published so I hope you all won't mind that I'm featuring that photo on the home page along with Dave Nauber & the crew of Wolverine for their accomplishments in Newport. For those of us in the North, don't forget to drain the water heater, change the oil in the engine, and wrap everything up tight for the winter. For those of you in warmer climates, just keep smiling! Art --Boundary_(ID_4s1QxNVgC1PiqM7v+KFKUQ) Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT

The tentative dates for the 2007 YRALIS Championship Reg= atta are July 28-29. The exact club alignment for this regatta is being wo= rked out but we are talking about western Long Island Sound. Is the Frers = 33 class looking for a home for its National Championship? We would be h= appy to host such an event (as we anticipate doing for the Soverel 33s) in conjunction with the YRA regatta. An even if not a class regatta we certainly hope Frers 33 owners will choose to join us.
For those not familiar with the YRA regatta it is a multi-fleet, multi-venue regatta held on western Long Island Sound. P= articipation ranges from IRC to PHRF to larger one-designs (J109s, J105s, Soverel 33s, B= eneteau 36.7s) to smaller ODs (Etchells, Shields, IODs) to dinghies (Lasers, Flying Scots, Vanguard 15s). The event also features two very nice post-race parties at one centralized club.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jonathan
